Christian Peace Witness Worship Resources for Local Events

A worship outline based on the worship planned for the Washington National Cathedral, with liturgy and music suggestions for local Christian Peace Witness worship vigils, is now available.

Click here for a worship outline provided by the worship committee for the Christian Peace Witness for Iraq worship service to be held at the Washington National Cathedral on March 16, 2007. This is created for the use of local witnesses across the country to pray for peace. It follows a similar format and includes most of the readings and music that will be used at the Cathedral. (Due to the specifics of the Cathedral service, there is some variation, and some additional music and readings suggested.) Please feel free to use and change this as appropriate for your own local setting. Given that most local events will not have 4 keynote speakers, optional liturgy is sometimes provided in place of speakers.
