Correctional Institutions Chaplaincy

CIC is a ministry of love to adults and juveniles in correctional facilities. We all have heard Jesus’ words, “I was in prison and you visited me….” (Matthew 25:36b) Here is an opportunity to put faith into action, to touch the lives of those in the midst of troubled times and to serve Jesus in many distressed disguises.

Convalescent Hospital Ministry

In the early eighties, the Council of Churches helped organize groups to provide worship services for those in convalescent hospitals around the valley. In 1984, this ministry was established as an independent organization, Convalescent Hospital Ministry of Santa Clara County. It is an important ministry, active in reaching our elders and providing them with worship services and pastoral care.
